Crate training a puppy the right way.
February 28th, 2010 by admin
Crate training a puppy, in my experience, is easier than crate training a young dog. When I wanted to crate train my year old boxer, both of us were desperate. He whined and cried every time I left him in the crate, and, of course, I felt like I had no other choice but to take him out every time he did that. He took more than 3 months to train in the crate. I did not repeat the same mistake when we decided to take in Kenny, our month old puppy. I started crate training him immediately and he had no problems with the crate at all! He seems like he enjoys his solitary moments in the crate.
