Cruises allow you to get away from it all

If you want a holiday where you can truly just get away from all the stresses of modern life then I recommend booking yourself on a cruise. Most cruises allow a degree of separation that even backpacking in remote tourist spots in the hill tops of Malaysia or the beaches of Thailand doesn’t quite offer anymore. It’s hard to go to any established resort nowadays without encountering internet, satellite television and mobile phone reception. You’re always expected to stay in touch. Admittedly, you can find this type of technology on cruise ships too, but no one will be surprised if you haven’t posted on Facebook for a while, or if they can’t get through to your mobile when you’re floating out in the middle of the Atlantic.
