The most expensive travel insurance is flight insurance. This is the type that will cover you if you were on a plane and a crash occurred. It happens that most people would be inclined to apply for this type of travel insurance coverage. However, statistics show that it is more likely to get into a fatal car accident than die in a plane crash. News headlines will cover plane crashes and for some reason or other they become the top news headline. There was a huge coverage on the plane that survived a crash landing in Hudson River earlier this year. Unfortunately, there was another collision between a helicopter and small aircraft over the same river that was not as lucky. The unpredictable nature of flying may cause concern for some, but others who are lackadaisical about it may overlook it. Either way, people need to know about coverage and other travel insurance tips to find out what best suits them.
